I stumbled accross this blog site. It's absolutely wonderful and brillant.

Kudos to the co founders of this remarkable movement.

I can't help but think of the Rolling Stones tune Under My Thumb. Are we all really under or do we just put ourselves there? In much of the corporate world that I am a part of, it seems that women are still not viewed as equal or that we are as competent as the male species. Don't get me wrong, I love me a man, but geeeze how long is it going to take until we are not viewed as the weaker less intelligent sex?
Really, does there have to be a weaker or less intelligent sex? Can't we be equal? Maybe I can cook better, but he sure can mop a floor better!! Somehow, it seems that folks will still say how wonderful he is for "helping me out". Okay, so that makes me furious!!! Helping me out???
WTF!!! In a traditional, old world way of thinking that is just great. But, what about me out there busting my ass off 40 hours a week to "help him" to provide for the family??? Why is that so overlooked by society??
I'm sorry for the rant. It seems I am all over the place with my racing mind on this issue.
Love your blog!!!
